We offer you our property "La Bordure de la Forêt" for a wonderful holiday. To this end, we make every effort to optimise and properly maintain the property to make you feel welcome. In return, we ask that you take care of it like a good family man. Please therefore take into account the following housekeeping regulations.
- The maximum occupancy (15 people, including children and babies) may not be exceeded. La Bordure de la Forêt reserves the right to refuse additional guests.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Smoking is not allowed in the accommodation. Smoking is allowed outside.
- Every guest is obliged to be careful with water, electricity, fuel oil and gas. Turning off all taps - including those outside, switching off cooker, oven, light, TV and closing all doors when leaving your holiday accommodation is mandatory. Excessive consumption may be charged.
- Charging of electric cars is only allowed at the designated charging station. Do not forget to bring your charging cable.
- Please do not move furniture. This may cause unnecessary damage and wear and tear to the furniture and/or floors. You may be charged extra for this if damage was caused.
- Use the furniture and equipment in the manner for which it is intended.
- Do not open rooms or cupboards locked with a key and therefore intended for private use.
- Do not throw anything into the toilet, shower, sink or other drains (no tampons, sanitary towels, panty liners, nappies). Also, do not throw environmentally harmful cleaning agents such as chlorine etc., fats and food waste down the drains or into the toilets. This causes serious blockages!
- Any kind of flooding in the bathroom leads to damage to the furnishings and floor. The guest is liable for all damages. Repair costs may be charged to you even after departure.
- Always use linen on the beds. Should you fail to do so, you may be charged for the cost of cleaning the pillows, blankets and mattresses.
- Only use the prescribed wood for the wood-burning stove, as stated in the instructions.
- Hot pans should not be placed directly on the counter or table. Always use a coaster for this.
- The jacuzzi and sauna are wellness appliances. Therefore, use them to relax. Accompany children when using them and keep them quiet.
- For hygiene reasons, it is forbidden to eat and drink in and around the jacuzzi and sauna.
- Respect the garden, do not pick flowers and do not touch trees and plants. Do not light fires! Avoid driving cars on the lawn or through the garden. Setting up tents is strictly prohibited.
- Take care not to cause a nuisance. Adhere to the rule that after 10pm. in the evening and before 8am. in the morning, you must respect the peace and quiet of local residents. For this reason, we ask you not to use the jacuzzi during these times.
- Please use sound equipment only indoors. It should in no way disturb the neighbourhood.
- The landlord is not liable for any accidents involving playground equipment in and around the holiday house.
- Kitchen waste may only be deposited in closed waste bags in the waste container provided for this purpose. The key is available in the accommodation on a hook next to the front door. Lock the container again after each use. Collecting full rubbish bags on balconies and terraces is absolutely forbidden. Paper and cardboard, glass, PMD (cans, bins, plastic bottles, etc.) may also be deposited in the waste container. This is emptied once a month, and fortnightly in high season. There is no need to move it. If the container would be full early, contact the owner of the property so that an extra emptying can be requested. Placing rubbish bags next to the container is not allowed.
- Identify any imperfections immediately on arrival and report them to the owner within 24 hours so that you are not held liable at the end of your stay. Report any damage incurred during your stay and before you leave, however minor (e.g. glasses, ...) and include a photo of the damage. This will allow the owner to put the house in order for the next guests.
- Any complaints should be reported to the owner immediately (no later than 24 hours) after being noticed.
